What is Ceramic Vacuum Filter?
a ceramic vacuum filter is a continuous vacuum filtration machine that uses microporous ceramic filter plates to separate liquid from mineral slurry under vacuum to form filter cake.
It is used for concentrate dewatering, tailings treatment, and valuable mineral recovery when the material is typically 80-350 mesh, permeable, slow-settling, and non-sticky.

Feed particle size
100 mesh – 300 mesh (optimal particle size: 75% passing 200 mesh)
Slurry concentration
30% – 45%
Production capacity
0.2–1000 t/h
Applications
Iron, copper, gold, lead-zinc, sulfur, fluorite, quartz sand and tailings
Why choose us?
Energy Efficiency Design of Ceramic Vacuum Disc Filter
The ceramic disc filtration system is built to minimize total specific energy consumption in mining and mineral processes. By optimizing dewatering and maintaining consistently low hydraulic resistance, the system delivers stable low energy consumption performance under continuous industrial operation. Its integrated structure which combines sintered ceramic microporous media, automated self-cleaning mechanisms, and high-durability mechanical assemblies, ensuring high operational reliability while reducing overall power demand across the filtration circuit.
Low energy consumption
Processing capacity:
>500 kg/m²·h, depending on mineral characteristics and operating conditions.
Specific energy consumption:
<0.5 kWh/t under specified operating conditions.
Clear filtrate
The microporous ceramic filter plates retain solid particles while allowing liquid to pass through, producing filtrate suitable for process-water recycling depending on the application
Low moisture content
Filter cake moisture depends on ore type, particle size distribution, slurry concentration, and vacuum conditions.
6%-9% for iron concentrate
9%-11% for copper concentrate
8%-12% for gold concentrate
10%-14% for gold tailings.
High automation
Typical filter cake moisture: approximately 6%–16%, depending on mineral type, particle size, feed concentration and operating conditions.

Company Introduction
We manufactures ceramic disc filters, disc vacuum filters, and ceramic filter plates. Certified to ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001, we serve mining, metallurgy, chemical, and environmental industries. Our microporous ceramic technology ensures high vacuum, low energy use, and automated cleaning – cutting operating costs and extending service life.
Designed for Long-Term Operation
With proper operation and scheduled maintenance, the main ceramic vacuum filter body is typically designed for 20-30 years of service. Ceramic plates, scrapers, seals, vacuum lines, and distributor components should be inspected periodically because replacement frequency depends on slurry abrasiveness, scaling, cleaning method, and daily operating hours.
